Wanted to share a little session I had with my two little cuties that I took at the end of the fall season. It was a cold day, but my kids did great ;) I made up some adorable mini albums for all the grammas for Christmas, which were a big hit. I am looking forward to making myself a 10x10 album for myself if I ever get some free time..lol!

I belong to a beautiful organization called "Helping Hearts" that offers free photography for families with sick children. Helping Hearts is a project created by Melissa & Michelle with the goal of being able to provide free photography sessions for families with sick children. Sweet little Nolan

This is a hard post to write... I know so many of my friends, family, clients and fans have been following Nolan's story over the past year. Thank you to everyone that has prayed and helped support Nolan and his family. It is truly appreciated! Sweet little Nolan... you were so brave and courageous as you battled a rare brain cancer.... even through all the pain, you still showed us all your beautiful smile. I am so grateful to have met you and your amazing family. You have taught us all about strength, hope, and the true meaning of family. We will miss that beautiful smile, amazing eyelashes and of course that sweet little giggle. May you rest in peace little man, and enjoy playing up in heaven with your brother. We will be praying for strength for your family for the hard road that lies ahead. xoxo

My whole family has been quite sick this week, so I would like to thank all my clients for their patience as we get healthy and more sleep. Wow... I think I heard someone say there is only 50 some days away til Christmas! Wow.. the year has gone by so quickly! I want to say a big thank you to all my clients and fans! I am so lucky to enjoy what I do and share it all with you ;) I have a contest idea in the works, so stay tuned for more details in the weeks to come. In the mean time, here is an idea I have been playing around with and love how it turned out!

I was so lucky to meet 6 day old little B. Such a gorgeous little boy! Little B didn't want to sleep much for the first part, and don't blame him as he had the hiccups... but once he was nice and sleepy, he was a dream!! Enjoy the peek!

Wow, this has been a busy week, a couple family sessions and two newborn sessions! Can't wait to share all the gorgeous images with all the families ;) I had this sweet little man in my studio recently, and he was so cute! He did great and he is so well loved by his beautiful family. I had a wonderful time, but I did need a shower after and will be doing lots of laundry this evening...lol! This is an old picture, but thought I would share anyways :) I am sure this year will be full of festivals, rehearsals, and a lot of myself being a taxi driver... but it is all worth it to see her twirl, smile and dance her little heart away :)

This is the 3rd time I have taken pictures for this beautiful family. I first met this family shortly after I first moved to Camrose, I knew right then that they were very special and genuine people. Almost one year ago, I got a call from the mom saying they are living their worst nightmare, that their precious little 17 month old son, Nolan, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I could barely speak as tears rolled down my face. This beautiful family has already lost one son to a brain tumor, and now their are re-living this horrific nightmare once again, as they soon found out the there was a genetic link to the cancer. Nolan's family asked me to capture some precious memories of their family just before all the surgeries and treatments occurred. I then once again took more family pictures once Nolan had finished his treatments. I was so happy to see Nolan smiling and giggling this time... and his sister is his biggest fan as she got the best smiles and giggles from him! Nolan has had a rough month and was re-admitted to the PICU. He is now recently off the ventilators and is breathing on his own and able to cuddle with his mommy again! What a great accomplishment Nolan! Nolan still has a long road to recovery, so please keep him and his family close in your prayers! Enjoy these pictures of this amazing and strong family... I will never forget those smiles and giggles :) Keep on fighting little man!!!
